Old White Men

Does the country really need these old white men to continue telling us what they think when it is so obvious that they represent the failure of the last six and half years?

Bush, today, reiterated his ridiculous statement that the American people did not vote for failure in the last election. True enough. They actually voted for failure in 2004, when they re-elected GW Bush, Dick Cheney and by implication the rest of the team of failed executives that got us into this war and have failed to come up with a coherent strategy for success and evacuation.

What the Democrats are attempting to do is make sure that the country stays focused on what might actually constitute success and extract us from a civil war that we cannot win militarily.

It's just galling to have Cheney continue to get up and espouse the same old tired rhetoric about all of this.
